BIOGRAPHY

Classically trained, Tatiana has played representative roles from Shakespeare and Chekhov to Lorca and Graczyk.  She is a two-year graduate from The Neighborhood Playhouse with an associates degree from The American Academy of Dramatic Arts in New York City. She has worked under the guidance of renown playwright Edward Allan Baker, originating the role of Lucy Guerra, for his play Sunny under the Assumption. She is currently part of the acting studio Apartment 929, Tony Torn Studio, where she works out her craft with actors Clark Middleton and Ewen Brenner.

Tatiana´s most recent work has been in the independent field, both in film and theater. Her most recent work was in Girl inside the Mirror as the Little Girl for the theater festival Planet Connection at Teatro Latea in New York City. She also starred in the independent film Scrying where her performance was very well received by the UK Film Review. Tatiana has worked in supporting roles for major film directors such as Ken Sanzel and Peter Berg in the films Mile 22 (2018) and The Effects of Blunt Force Trauma (2014). In the past year she has been drawn to producing both film and theater; her latest film production, in which she also starred in, was Vocation directed by renown Latin American actor Alejandro Aguilar (El Chapo), followed by the play Los Pied Pipers de Woodside written by Derek Ahonen with its upcoming South American run on November 2018.

Tatiana is an artist that enjoys traveling. She moved from Colombia to New York City at the early age of 19 and she has been all over the United States. Due to her bilingual skills (Spanish and English) she has encounter wonderful people from different cultures that have enriched her artistic experience, and this allows her to deepen her curiosity in different dialects and ethnic backgrounds. Tatiana is looking forward to braking the stereotypes and the statue quo of the Hispanic female presentation alongside artist and visionaries like Jose Rivera, Alejandro Iñarritu and Stephanie Langhoff.
